Laidley’s doing what it does best, making a weekend of spring, 63 years on.

NEXT WEEKEND. As in, this is your warning before your friends start posting photos without you.

Laidley turns on its annual celebration of spring 11–12 September, with a garden precinct, orchids, quilts, art, markets, food, music and a street parade.

It’s gloriously unhurried.

You can wander through community exhibitions.

Stop for something delicious.

Find something you didn’t know you needed.

Listen to live music - We’ve got a ripper of a line-up.

Watch the parade roll through town.

Friday night, Twilight Feast & Fest takes over from 5–9pm - food, makers, music, dancing, lights and a FREE concert.

Saturday brings even more, including the Show 'n’ Shine and Producer’s Patch with chef Tony Tierney.

Sunday? Bee Happy Day in Forest Hill.

And yes, much of it is free.

Which leaves you with very little excuse.
