Across 2026 the calendar has never dropped below ~210 verified events in a single month. That’s not a seasonal blip - the scene has stayed busy every month so far this year.
Verified car meets per month in 2026: January 219, February 288, March 364, April 310, May 394, June 344, July 428, August 501, September 327 (in progress). August was the busiest completed month with 501 events.
Saturday night is the heartbeat
84% of events land Friday to Sunday - but the hour is local: WA runs after dark (70% of its meets), while SA owns the morning (37% of its meets).
Car meets by day of week, busiest first (share of the week): Saturday 1,342 (40%), Sunday 795 (24%), Friday 651 (20%), Wednesday 212 (6%), Thursday 175 (5%), Monday 84 (3%), Tuesday 76 (2%). 84% of all events fall Friday to Sunday, and Saturday is the single busiest day. By time of day: Night 1,596 (48%), Morning 899 (27%), All Day 836 (25%).
Queensland leads the count - WA owns it per head
Raw numbers run neck-and-neck (QLD and NSW), but population tells another story. WA throws a meet for every ~4,600 people and QLD one per ~6,200, while in VIC it’s one per ~10,700.

JDM and Muscle own the scene
Together, JDM and Muscle make up over 70% of meets with a set vibe. But the vibe also decides your hour: Stance and JDM dominate the night shift (62% after dark), while Classic and Exotic rule the morning crowds.
Car meets by declared scene (share of tagged events): JDM 1,060 (31%), Muscle 880 (25%), Classic 477 (14%), Euro 390 (11%), Stance 242 (7%), 4x4 227 (7%), Exotic 199 (6%). Mixed or open events (1,101) are excluded because they declare no single scene.

Two in three are casual street meets
Beyond the casual meets, a serious slice of the calendar happens at motorsport venues: participant track days where people actually drive, plus the big ticketed spectator events.
