Car meets by state in 2026 (share of mapped events): QLD 625 (27%), NSW 544 (23%), VIC 488 (21%), WA 465 (20%), SA 165 (7%), NT 54 (2%), TAS 10 (<1%). Queensland leads on total volume.

// 04 — THE SCENES

JDM and Muscle own the scene

Together, JDM and Muscle make up over 70% of meets with a set vibe. But the vibe also decides your hour: Stance and JDM dominate the night shift (62% after dark), while Classic and Exotic rule the morning crowds.

Car meets by declared scene (share of tagged events): JDM 718 (31%), Muscle 628 (27%), Classic 306 (13%), Euro 258 (11%), Stance 147 (6%), 4x4 139 (6%), Exotic 138 (6%). Mixed or open events (792) are excluded because they declare no single scene.

// 05 — WHAT KIND OF EVENT

Two in three are casual street meets

Beyond the casual meets, a serious slice of the calendar happens at motorsport venues: participant track days where people actually drive, plus the big ticketed spectator events.

Car meets by event type: Car Meet 1,529 (65%), Participant Track Day 456 (19%), Major Spectator Event 366 (16%).
