This week’s theme: Concrete & Coastlines

One minute you’re parked in front of a wall covered in graffiti, the next you’re standing lakeside watching the sun disappear over the water.

Turns out Canberra has a weird talent for putting gritty urban backdrops and peaceful lake views within five minutes of each other, so we’re taking advantage of both.

Bring your bike, your camera, and whatever style you want to show off. Whether you’re chasing reflections on the lake, colourful graffiti shots, rolling photos, or just hanging out with good people, there’ll be plenty to shoot.

No pressure, no experience required, and definitely no money changing hands. Just riders, photographers, learners, and anyone looking for an excuse to get out of the house for a couple of hours.

As always, this isn’t a professional shoot. It’s a chance to meet people, practice your photography, learn something new, and maybe leave with a photo you’re actually proud of.

Photographers — if you’ve got a Canberra location with a great view, send me a DM. We move locations each week and are always looking for new hidden gems around the city.

Graffiti, sunsets, motorcycles, and good company. Hard to complain about that.
