This month at FaithFuel Pastor Roland talked about driving with the GPS on.

When headed somewhere new, we trust that little screen to guide us. We don’t question every turn. WE don’t argue with it. We follow the directions because we want to get where we're going.

Proverbs 3:5–6 says to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.

And Proverbs 14:12 reminds us that there is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.

That hits hard.

Because sometimes I think I know the better route. I want to take shortcuts. I want to override the direction. But every time I’ve tried to do life my own way, I end up confused, stressed, or off track.

Just like ignoring your GPS can leave you lost, ignoring God’s direction can lead you somewhere you never meant to go.

But when you trust Him completely, when you submit your plans, your relationships, your goals, your future to Him, He promises to make your path straight.

You don’t have to figure it all out yourself.

Today I want to encourage you to choose His direction over your own. Even when it doesn’t make sense. Even when it requires faith.
